I plan on creating a website soon, but i want to do it right so its necessary for me to have this blog up in the mean time so I can expose my work to others and ride the wave that is the social network instead of getting caught in the muddy under toe. I will also set up a facebook page soon (by the time you read this itll be up) to further take advantage of what the internet has to offer.
This is a place for me to post ideas and photographs of my choosing. All of the photographs here have been taken by me and are from my personal portfolio, so have a look through my blog and find something that interests you. Comments and questions are welcome so feel free to contact me.

INTRO
Refraction is the change in direction of a wave (i.e light) due to a change in its speed. This is most commonly observed when a wave passes from one medium to another at any angle other than 90° or 0°. This is why a pencil placed in a glass of water appears to be at a different angle below the water level.
A beam of light is refracted as it passes through a prism.
Refraction is just one of the many basic principles of physics that have to do with the way a camera lens captures an image.
